HIGH TENSILE ALLOY (HTA) COPPER FOIL
The growing adoption of silicon in anode materials is driving the need for stronger foils able to withstand greater stress. Our thin RA copper foil based on high-tensile alloys is designed specifically for use with with silicon-based anodes. Its increased mechanical strength and thermal stability (up to 500C) come at the expense of electrical conductivity, which is somewhat reduced.
PRODUCT SUMMARY
50-100% higher strength than pure copper.
Mechanical strength maintained at very high temperatures.
Different alloys available with distinct features.
Available as thin as 0.0008-0.020mm
Surface Options | Solvent or electrolytically degreased.

Ultimate tensile strength of 500 to 750 MPa.
High thermal stability of up to 500 degrees celsius.
Electrical conductivity between 40% and 86% IACS.
